Christie Brown Fall/Winter 2013 Collection – “Dure”

EVENT: NOKIA/TRACE URBAN - DON'T BREAK THE BEAT ROUND 2

Friday 12th of July 2013 at Grandeur Events Center on Billings Way in Ikeja top Nigerian rap & hip hop artistes Modenine, Olamide, Eva, Phenom, Show Dem Camp thrilled many Nigerian youths with their superb performances as Nokia in Partnership with Trace urban, announced the commencement of round 2 of the Don’t Break Da Beat rap competition with a reward price of $20,000.

The announcement of the competition also witnessed the introduction of 2 new Nokia Asha devices; Asha 210, a dual SIM device that comes with a 2.4 inch LCD display screen, fast and responsive QWERTY and WiFi connection. and Asha 501 the first of its kind in the new era of Nokia’s Asha devices using the new Asha operating system, faster and better. Invitees all went home with a Nokia Asha branded bag with souvenirs inside.

EVENT: TRACE NIGERIA BBQ PARTY

So I went out during the weekend and it was for the Trace Nigeria BBQ Party. On a regular weekend I don’t  move more than 10feet from my room, I just chill and watch movies downloaded, eat and “resume” sleeping again.

Trace family gave everyone in attendance the BBQ party of their life, small chops and finger foods were surplus and so was drink *wink*

Faconner Collection” – Bibire Designs presents its Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

The Spring/Summer collection for Bibire  Designs is here and it’s themed the “Faconner Collection” which translates to ‘Shapes’ in French. The creative director – Busayo Salahdeen – has a love for shapes and architectural designs and used triangles, squares, straight parallels and zig-zag lines to create the patterns of this collection.

NEW MUSIC: LET IT ALL GO - YungPro Ft. Phanto

Born and bred in J-Town (Jos, Nigeria), Yung-Pro (David Adjeks) and Phanto (Fanen Hungwa) grew up with a love for music. This love grew as they got older and got exposed to music influences from people like Eminem, Nas, R. kelly and other great artistes from the 90's. Although these guys are young and upcoming, I can "categorically" assure you that they're something of a phenomenon worth watching out for!
