EVENT - Food, Fun & Business (FFB) @ 1

With over two months, two weeks, two days, two hours, two munites.... okay :-) just kidding! But after a long period of preparation that included several meetings some of which were all night, "FFB UNO: The Anniversary Edition", was fully conceptualized by a group of 6 elite minds and the event was slated to hold on Saturday 10th of August, 2013.

Eventually.... the day came: The long awaited first year anniversary of Food, Fun & Business (FFB) Events. By 12:15pm, the event officially begun with an opening prayer by the event's convener- Ben IssI. Subsequent, was the Pitch Me! session which entailed participants introducing each other then pitching themselves. This took about 30mins and afterwards the Speakers' session ensued. Chika went first, telling us his abridged story and answering a few questions. Chude followed suit with his own abridged story and also answered a few questions. Chude and Chika then took turns over the next hour answering questions and speaking on: "Maximizing online publicity with a low budget" and "The mind of a startup investor" respectively.

That session then gave way to the "Let's do it" session during which 2 selected participants got to fully pitch their ideas/projects to both speakers and the rest of the participants. It was an exciting session as it seamlessly slipped into the networking session which heralded the arrival of the much awaited food which then gave way to the annivesary celebration, speakers' gifts presentation and a deluge of fun & pictures!

With the speakers' departed, the event's convener- Ben IssI, then came up to give the benediction and announce furthcoming events and the future for FFB. It was an epoch-making event as no one was in a hurry to leave and all showed sincere appreciation for the opportunity of being invited.

As always the FFB Special Ops is grateful for the opportunity of each person's presence and the gifts of everyone's audience.
