MONDAY MOTIVATION

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

There may be days when you get up in the morning
and things aren't the way you had hoped they would be,
that’s when you have to tell yourself
that things will get better.

There are times when people disappoint you and let you down,
but those are the times when you must remind yourself
to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your
life focused on believing in yourself
and all that you are capable of.

There will be challenges to face and
changes to make in your life,
and it is up to you to accept them.

Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you.

It may not be easy at times,
but in those times of struggle
you will find a stronger sense of who you are,
so when the days come that are filled with
frustration and unexpected responsibilities,
remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be,
because the challenges and changes will only help you to
find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you.

Keep believing in yourself.

More From Kim & Kanye’s Vogue Spread

Kim Kardashian found her way onto the cover of Vogue magazine, alongside Kanye West, making it one of the most epic (or controversial) covers ever. Before the April issue goes on stands March 31, Vogue shared a little teaser of what we can expect from the interview: Kim talking about her idol, Elizabeth Taylor, baby talk with Nori, and an appearance from Momager Kris.

On Elizabeth Taylor:
“Everything seemed so selfless for her,” Kim remembers. “We talked about the jewelry and how it ultimately didn’t belong to her; she just wanted to help people.” When Taylor’s estate was sold to benefit the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, Kim even acquired some of those jewels herself. She also went to look at Taylor’s house. “It was just so enchanting,” she remembers, “with a garden with really pretty trellises and beautiful roses, but it wasn’t realistic for me to purchase. It only had a one-car garage.”

On playing dress up with North:
“I take pictures of her all the time and dress her up,” says Kim. “I put Kanye’s big chains around her, and I put a little Louis bag and some Jordans, and I was like, ‘What up, Daddy?’ ” Kanye, meanwhile, has made an adorable little stop-frame video of North caught in her natural movements that he’s edited to make it appear as if she’s break-dancing.

Karrueche Opens Up About Love & Chris Brown Criticism For Annex Magazine

Welcome to a new week fam.

We begin the week with Karrueche Tran as she talks about love and CB. The 25-year-old has lent her face to Annex Magazine, who tapped her for their latest spring issue.

Excerpts from the interview below.

On what love means to her:
Love is beautiful. Love is the most important aspect in my life. I believe all things should stem from love and the heart, whether it be in your work space, family, relationships, friendships, etc. Once you learn to live through love, you achieve happiness. With those two main aspects in your life, everything else falls into place and it’s just right. There’s no better feeling to love and be loved. And you can’t buy that.

On how she dealt with criticism during her relationship with Chris Brown:
I was going through a situation that we all are very familiar of. I had a lot of criticism and comments about my current situation at the time. It was honestly very hard to deal with because people were saying really cruel things. Having to go through a rough time and then on top of that, having to deal with a ton of BS was a bit overwhelming. Never allow people’s opinions to justify your life. Live your life because at the end of the day, you’ve only got you.

On what’s next for her career:
Right now I have various opportunities and I’m exploring all of them to see which is best for me. I absolutely love modeling and probably can do it forever. I’ve tested the waters with acting, but I think I’m a bit too shy. I haven’t really broken out of my shell.
