So I finally got tagged for the show Guinness colourful world of more concert after two days and if I was told to say one word for this concert it would be WAOH. The amount of money spent on this concert was worth it though seeing that Nigerians are their major consumers.
The show started on a very groovy mode with Miss Kedike on the speakers. She serenaded everyone with her voice singing Asa's Beautiful and her hits like Kedike and E mi ni Baller. They call me Burnaaaaaa Boy was looking dapper on his turquoise blue suit. He sang hits upon hits but there was one thing he didn't do... strip to his underwear and we thank God for that. Every wherethat I go I'm VIP... Ice Prince Zamani is one of the most energetic stage performers, his all white every thang outfit was too cool setting him aside from the rest.
Its Phyno and Olamide and we just getting started... Say hello to the man of the year. Phyno has a very large number of fans even me a non Igbo is on the quest to learn the Igbo language through Phyno's songs :D . Then came Olamide (Voice of The Street) and the street responded back. Every time Olamide said 'hello' people responded with 'how are you', massive love was allover Olamide after throwing his leather jack to the crowd and spilling several cans of Guinness on the crowd, they sure responded back by throwing Guinness at him.
She has a heart but she just wish she had one that was full of stone which I don't recommend sha. Waje still holds down that crown for the most soulful singer in Nigeria and she was as beautiful as ever, but the crowd wasn't prepared for her and I totally understand because they were all in a party mode, but hey Waje was good. Wizzy baby loke loke was also very good, but that Caro song was the highlight of Wizkid's performance . Flavour Nabania was all sexy on us, twisting on and making the ladies wonder if they really know how to grind upon it.
Skelewu Skelewu Skelewu Skelelelelele... Davido sang live and it was beautiful. He is really growing. Singing live is not one of those things we can say about most Nigerian artist but David is making it obvious that he doesn't want to be part of that crew no more. She will be your African barbie and you will be her six packs bobo. Tiwa Savage came out looking beautiful in her glittering pants and tube oufit, oh by the way I didn't see any baby bumps o, but you can never tell...
Eja Nla has surfaced... Dbanj came at the later end of the show and it was pretty awesome, from suddenly to finally, then top of the world. Personally persona personally I go deal with you... Psquare performed at the end of the concert, they did all the dance moves on the personally video, I mean all. But the crowd was quite tired, after which people began to leave.
Over all, this concert was very good, except for sending people mails to get to the venue by six o'clock and keeping them standing and then the whole stampede the show was beautiful. from food to drink and the goody bag, sound, lighting, coverage. Guinness raised to the bar for every other blue chip organization as regards to this show
