Black leggings are comfortable, flattering, and can be worn in so many ways, though ideally not as pants. Still I cant begin to believe the promises to banish that dreaded skin dimpling known as cellulite.
For the low, low price of $197.57 (N32,472) you can get your hands on a pair of Proskins' 24-karat gold legwear. According to the brand, the leggings themselves contain tiny gold particles, which in turn are full of thousands of hyaluronic acid molecules. The brand furthers claims that the molecules in the fabric penetrate below the skin to hydrate, moisturize, and otherwise rejuvenate skin. In addition, the leggings claim to contour and visually improve problem areas for up to two days after wear.
As much as we want to believe in the prospect of magic leggings that will make our legs look better while we eat burger on the couch, I can't see myself investing in Proskins' product any time soon. After all, our N1500 pairs serve us just fine yeah? and the leg-slimming effects we experience while we're wearing them will more than suffice.
