Last year, Adidas snatched up Kanye West, giving him a chance to build the empire he always dreamed of. And now they’ve decided to snag another one of Jay Z’s favorites under their brand umbrella-ella-ella: none other than the blonde beauty Rita Ora.
After seeing a number of “hmm”-worthy Instagram uploads from Rita, a self-proclaimed Jordan lover, in yet-to-be-released Adidas, I pretty much came to conclusion that the UK native would be working with the sneaker brand. But nothing was official until the proverbial fat lady sang – aka not until the brand announced it – and Adidas did just that yesterday, posting a photo of Rita Ora with the following caption:
Welcoming @RitaOra to the #adidasOriginals family! Known for her energy and original spirit, we are proud to announce that our FW14 collection will feature collaborations with #RitaOra – a match brought about by a mutual admiration for our shared rebellious natures. Expect the unexpected. Details to follow.
