Gwen Stefani’s Much-Anticipated OPI Collection Finally Hits Shelves

When the news of the collaboration was announced back in October, OPI stated in the release they were initially inspired by the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala that featured the theme “Punk: Chaos to Couture,” with a collection of polish that celebrates “the role of music as a major influence in fashion.” And of course, the gorgeous Gwen was the obvious choice for the collaboration.

As promised, the punk-inspired collection features five nail polishes: Love. Angel. Music. Baby.(gold), In True Stefani Fashion (silver), Hey Baby (hot pink), I Sing in Color (deep dark red) and 4 in the Morning (black). In addition to some amazing names and colors, the collab also includes a four-piece mini pack and two-piece set with a base coat so appropriately named “Lay Down That Base”. The full-size polishes retail for $9  (#1,422) each, and the mini pack is $12.95 (#2,054)

If you know Gwen Stefani, you know there has to be a hue of her signature red color. The polish “Over A-Gwen” said to be inspired by her iconic red lipstick is what we were waiting on, but suprizingly (and sadly) the red hue was held for a later release, which also means Gwen has something else up her sleeve. We’ll be waiting.
